His TV personality is only overshadowed by his lecturing persona. He was wonderful. With wit and humor, he provided more information about vegetable gardening than anyone could consume in real-time. The take-away from his lecture is that he depends on the seed catalog from Johnny’s Selected Seeds, http://www.johnnyseeds.com, for much of his vegetable gardening information. I quickly rushed home and ordered the catalogue. Roger was right. It is a treasure chest of valuable information, and I recommend anybody who is interested in vegetable gardening to order this catalog, and study it as much as you dare.
